What is the Vendor Managed Inventory solution?

This is a streamlined approach to inventory management and demand replenishment.  Rather than the traditional supply push, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is a demand driven process.  It involves an agreement between the supplier and the customer giving the supplier complete responsibility for maintaining a certain inventory level.  Typically the inventory is maintained at the customer’s location.

How does it work?

Put our resources to work.  A dedicated supply expert will handle the replenishment process.  Rather than generating, sending and receiving purchase orders from the customer, we generate a replenishment order for the customer based on detailed demand information.  Based on the customer’s objectives, the process is refined to achieve the expected outcome.
